Booking a shoot

Once you have taken the first step to deciding you’d like to do a photoshoot with me, we will book in a date for you and briefly discuss what kind of photos you are looking for.

A few weeks before your shoot, I will contact you with a photoshoot information guide. This will include all the details we have discussed, plus location, outfits and any photo inspiration ideas.

Payment for the shoot is due on the day.

We spend a fun hour or so taking photos of your lovely family, I will give you fun prompts to bring out the natural smiles and laughter, capturing those precious moments.

What happens after?

Once the session has ended, your job is to sit back and relax. Whilst you are eagerly awaiting your photos, I will be carefully selecting the very best to gently edit each one individually and bring out the best in them.

In approximately 3 weeks, you will receive a very exciting email from me, letting you know that your photos are ready to view on a password-protected online gallery. It’s then up to you how long you sit and gaze over them before either sharing online, printing or updating your profile pictures! My favourite is to print on a canvas and hang on the wall!

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll reschedule your shoot for the next available date that works for both of us. As for sickness, just let me know as soon as possible, and we’ll find a new date. Life happens, and I’m happy to work with you to make it work!

I provide a styling guide after you book, with tips on choosing outfits that complement each other and suit the season. The key is to feel comfortable and coordinate without being too matchy. Neutral tones and soft textures work wonderfully for most shoots, but we’ll tailor it to the vibe you’re after.
Booking fees are non-refundable as they secure your date and cover prep work. However, if you need to reschedule, your booking fee can be transferred to a new date, provided you give sufficient notice.
Don’t worry - that’s completely normal! My sessions are relaxed and designed to capture natural moments. We’ll play games, explore, and have fun, so your child won’t even realise they’re having their photo taken. Some of the best shots happen in those candid moments of movement!
Yes, absolutely! It’s a great idea to plan ahead for these milestones. The 12 and 20 week scans are a good time to get booked in. For newborn shoots, I’ll pencil in your due date and adjust the session as needed once baby arrives. Just reach out, and we’ll get it in the diary.
Each package includes a specific number of edited digital images. You can also purchase additional images if you fall in love with more from your gallery.
Yes, absolutely. Travel within 30 miles (round trip) from RH15 is included.
For locations beyond this, there’s a small travel fee of £0.50 per mile (only for miles over the 30-mile allowance), plus £15 per 30 minutes of travel time beyond the first hour. I’ll calculate this for you and let you know the total before you book.
A booking fee of £30 is required to secure your booking, with the balance due 7 days before the shoot. I’ll confirm all details during the booking process.
Yes, I do! After your gallery is ready, you’ll have the option to purchase high-quality prints, or albums. These are perfect for gifts or keepsakes - just ask!
