My main priority when doing a newborn shoot is simple; it's that everyone is comfortable, (and to take beautiful photos of course). Having a newborn baby is such a precious time and a perfect opportunity to get those first family photos that you will cherish for a lifetime.

The session is completely baby-led as I come to your home and we find a good spot of light. Whilst you are giving baby all the kisses and snuggles, I will take photos of these moments. I may ask you to position yourselves in a certain way to capture the best light but for the most part, it is truly non-invasive.

It is very relaxed and focused on capturing sweet moments between baby and parents. As you are comfortable in your own home, we can stop at any time little one needs a feed or change etc.

The best time for a newborn shoot is between 7 and 14 days. This way they are still sleepy and small to get the best photos. Don’t worry if little one is older and you have just found me - we can still capture baby photos!
